This year, the team leads of our newly established Dubbing company: “Dublaja” have made it to the Empire of Japan to attend and cover a significant convention for animation and film industry taking place in Tokyo.
TIFFCOM Festival for Animation and Film Industry was held in Tokyo, Japan through October 2023. THE ARABIC VOICE, Inc. had a fruitful participation as our Dublaja guys could meet and introduce our services and demonstrate our comprehensive portfolio in Anime and Game localization with a numerous representatives of some of the most prominent Anime production houses in Japan, such as Toei Animation, Bandai Namco, TMS Entertainment, Muse Communication Co., Medialink Entertainment, Tencent and Pony Canyon.
The convention was a great opportunity to reach out to some of the major Japanese and Asian TV Networks like TV Tokyo and NHK, some previous connections that is usually getting in direct connection with through remote channels is a bit of challenge.
The festival featured a wide representation of a significant number of production, distribution, and localization houses in Japan and the Asian continent, as well as a number of popular television networks in Japan and its regional backyard: China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and even from Europe and the Western World: Russia, Italy, and the United States of America. Our participation paved the way for a new strategic shift in our global outreach, and raised a considerable number of prospects of long term collaboration with Anime and media titans on the Asian plateau.
Not to mention that the journey was a true pleasure to Dublaja’s team, enjoying a delightful sightseeing tour in Japan, it’s significant wildlife and charming nature.
THE ARABIC VOICE™ had several earlier collaborations and interactions in the Japanese market over the past decade, localizing a series of informative videos for the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs into Arabic language, and providing e-learning narrative and instructive voiceover and dubbing recordings in Arabic for some of the most prominent Japanese manufacturers like Nissan and Yamaha. In 2015 our Global Affairs team established communications with the Japanese Imperial Household Agency proposing their services to be their cultural and communication gateway to the peoples and governments of the Arab world in the Middle East and North Africa, several ambitious attempts to approach the orient which were summed up over 2023 in the vision and establishment of Dublaja as a new brand and specialized production unit, meant to communicate and work on Japanese soil, while interacting and distributing its localized anime and audio-visual product over the Arab-plateau in the Middle East and North African regions.
